CONTI THUN’s “LEONARDO” is an elegant, delicate and fruity red made from a a blend of indigenous grapes: Groppello, Barbera, Sangiovese and Marzemino.
It embodies the character of its Valtènesi territory, light and velvety, but acquires a more marked character after already 6 months in French oak barriques. After harvest, the vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks and aging/refinement follows for 1 year in oak barrels, and finally 3 months steel again for stabilisation.
In appearance, it shows beautiful intense ruby red. Its bouquet is reminiscent of ripe red berries, such as currant, raspberry and blueberry, with a delicate presence of vanilla. The palate brings together this blend of typical local grapes through a distinguished and enveloping character, a satisfying harmony of taste, offering a velvety and elegant experience in the glass.
