ALTA LANGA ROSÉ

Metodo Classico Alta Langa Rosé

Sale price €25,95

Marcalberto’s “ROSÉ” is a fragrant, fruity, well balanced Metodo Classico Rosé sparkling from classic Pinot Noir & Chardonnay grapes (vinified following the traditional rosé technique, often used in champagne, of adding a small percentage of red wine to the white base, in order to obtain a more brilliant and long-lasting colour.
Harvested in the last decade of August, both grape varieties will undergo vinification and first fermentation separately and wine ages in French old wood barrels for around 7 months, with weekly bâtonnage.
Unfiltered and unclarified into the bottle for the second fermentation of about 24 months before dégorgement.
The appearance shows an antique rose colour, and a fine and persistent perlage. The aroma is floral and fruity, with hints of bread crust and red fruits.
The palate is fruity and well balanced between structure and frenshess.
Food-match: a charming “Brut” Rosé Spumante pairing very well throughout the whole meal, included also red meat dishes.
Recommended serving-temperature of 7°-9°C.
