Réva’s Barbera d’Alba Superiore is an elegant and silky red wine with a very characterful and aromatic nose presenting notes of red berries, juicy fruits and vanilla, given the 12-months barrel-ageing.
The taste is persistent and round, inviting with flavours of wild blueberries and mature cherries. The palate is full whilst bringing hints of spices, candied-fruit, yet a beautiful freshness and a medium to long finish. Great drinkability.
Food-match: a great food companion of cold-cuts charcuterie, roasted red meats, slightly spiced pasta dishes & cheeses. It can be beautifully enjoyed on its own too.
