About the Winery

The Criölin farm is a historic family business in Piedmont, located in the municipality of Castagnole delle Lanze, one of the most prestigious wine-growing areas in the Asti region, where the Langhe countryside meets the rolling hills of Monferrato — the ideal setting for Barbera d'Asti and Moscato d'Asti.

The story of this winery speaks of a family tradition passed down through four generations. Claudio, a graduate of the oenological school of Alba, joins the winery to support his father, Angelo.

Here, just as in the vineyard, he brings a strong drive for innovation — pruning ever more boldly to continuously raise the quality of the grapes. Today, Criölin Winery crafts beautiful wines with great pride, passion and dedication, using only grapes from its own vineyards (approximately 10 hectares), following the rhythms of nature. The winery has earned the Vegan certification and is currently working towards obtaining the Organic certification in the near future.
