Tenute Ballasanti is a young wine venture, but one with deep roots. It is situated on the eastern slopes of Etna in Sicily, above the Ionian Sea. Naturally different: the unexpected Etna.

Tenute Ballasanti: an unmistakably unique winemaking reality in Sicily. It is precisely here that Fabio and Manuela have found the perfect understanding between their different professional backgrounds and their shared love of the land — the driving force of the estate. An astrophysicist, technologist, internationally experienced business leader and passionate botanist and bonsai enthusiast — that is him. An international career, a passion for Eastern culture, an emotional bond with her land and her volcano — she too is an international business manager. The result? An innovative approach to production with a constant pursuit of excellence. And wines with a great personality — just like Fabio and Manuela.

The return of Manuela Seminara to her family's land in San Giovanni Montebello on the slopes of Etna, overlooking the sunrise above the sea, where she was born and raised.

And also a turning point. Her husband Fabio, with an eye to the future, brings together the various properties and, alongside Manuela, breathes life into a new agricultural estate — planting ten wine years, new vineyards, and designing and establishing a new cellar. The Return and the Turning Point: a loving synergy committed to producing vibrant and expressive Terroir wines.
