Pietramatta’s “MISMA” Bianco is an elegant, fresh and aromatic white made from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc & Sauvignon Nepis (Piwi variety).
Hand harvested in a small parcel underneath the protection of Monte Misma, which provides ideal conditions thanks to a strong temperature range between day and night, this white wine delivers a beautiful freshness and aromatic bouquet.
Aging on the “fine lees” with continuous batônnage. The appearance shows an attractive straw yellow with greenish highlights.
The aromatic bouquet delivers notes of exotic fruit (passion fruit, ananas, litchee), elderberry, boxwood and tomato leaf. Over time a delicate flint aroma develops.
Food match: a perfect aperitif white (e.g. prosciutto crudo), wonderful with risotto with asparagus, pasta al pesto, white meats, and particularly crustaceans. An ideal combination will also be Sushi and mild-spiced Asian cuisine.
Recommended serving-temperature of 12 °C.
