SANTA MADDALENA CLASSICO | VIGNA RONDELL

Gojer’s “S.Maddalena Vigna Rondell” is a fruity, full-body yet refined red wine made from 100% Schiava, from Cru vineyard oldest vines ”Vigna Rondell” (Pergola training system with 5000 vines per hectare).
Following manual harvest with only best grapes selection, vinification process starts with very delicate and soft processing. Fermentation process at controlled temperature in steel tanks with repeated submersion of the must for extraction.
Malolactic fermentation and ageing in large wooden barrels. Bottling in May.

The appearance shows a dense ruby colour. On the nose intense cherry fruit with hints of meaty and spicy flavours. Full-bodied and yet refined wine.
Firm yet pleasant tannins, dense structure and exciting displays of acidity. Long evolving finish. Great ageing potential.
Food-match: Beautiful with white and red meat, as well as Mediterranean starters. Very nice with medium to aged cheeses.
Recommended serving-temperature of 16°C.
